Mantra Learning has an opportunity available for a Central Bookings Administrator to join our friendly team. This role will be based in Middleton and any other sites where we have business. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will be working 37.5 hours per week. You will receive a competitive salary of at £13,065 – £15,000 per annum depending on experience.
About the Central Bookings Administrator role
A fantastic opportunity to join our team in our Central Bookings Department. You will be dealing with inbound telephone calls and administration tasks to support the running of a very busy company. This is a varied position where you will be relied upon to provide first class customer service and contribute to the overall department performance. You will be involved heavily in dealing with all Job Centres and booking candidates onto courses.
What are the responsibilities of the Central Bookings Administrator?
- To handle and respond to online enquiries and any incoming calls that generate a lead from the information received
- Input data to relevant databases (eg Wildfire, Maytas)
- Process training course booking/Joining instructions to customers
- Produce reports as required
- Answering internal and external telephone calls
- General administration duties, including filing, photocopying
- Assist Tutors in administration of learner data
- Assist in the completion of claims / bookings
- To Co-ordinate attendance registers for events (Manage signing in and take delegates when necessary)
- Liaise with other departments to aid smooth running of courses/events
- To undertake special projects as directed by your line manager
- Undertake any other reasonable request made by senior management
Our ideal Central Bookings Administrator will have the following skills & experience:
- IT experience, including use of Word, Excel and Database
- Ability to work as part of a team or using own initiative
- Ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Able to demonstrate good organisation and coordination skills
- Willing to be flexible and the ability to plan own workload and respond to changing priorities
- Willing to take on additional duties and responsibilities
- Able to demonstrate confidence, professionalism and a good attitude to work
- Undertake any other reasonable request made by senior management
